Welcome to our Preschool classroom! My name is Janet Fox and I am thrilled to be spending this year with your child. Working along with me each day is Mrs. Bridget Shappell. Our school year will be full of many exciting activities and explorations that encourage and promote individual growth.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere where children are secure and can develop a sense of independence and individuality while being part of a group. We want our children to develop warm, caring relationships both with their peers and adults in their daily lives. Together we will experience activities that will enhance the total development of your child; social, physical (small and gross motor skills), intellectual, and language.
We will learn about our shapes, letter/sound recognition, colors, numbers, name recognition, nutrition, animals, spatial relationships, seasonal themes and much more by engaging in fun activities such as, cooking, crafts, free play, playground fun, singing, dancing, circle time fun, reading, and much more. All of our experiences and tasks are developed with the interests and abilities of your child in mind.
